Well folks its finally here Michigan vs Ohio State otherwise known as “The Game”
This game is by far the furthest rivalry in all of college football, maybe in all of sports. all though for the past 6 years, Ohio State has won every game. Although Michigan leads the series (114 games) with 58 wins 49 losses and 6 ties. The first meeting between these two teams was in 1897. It was mainly fueled by the short border war between the two states. Michigan won the first game 34-0.

The “TEN-YEAR WAR”: Woody Hayes vs Bo Schembechler
After Michigan lost to Ohio State in 1988 Michigan head coach Bump Elliot resigned. That is when the University of Michigan hired Miami(Ohio) head coach Bo Schembechler, who was previously under Woody Hayes at Ohio State. On Nov 22,1969, coach Hayes brought the Fuckeyes who were on a 22 win streak into Ann Arbor. The Wolverines won that game 24-12 upsetting the Fuckeyes. Over the ten year battle, Bo had 5 wins 4 losses and 1 tie against Hayes.

Jim Harbaugh vs Urban Meier
This year the game between the to teams is probably the biggest of the Jim Harbaugh Era at UofM. It’s basically a replay of 2016. only the teams aren’t ranked #2 and #3. Going into the game Saturday both teams should be a little worried but also a little confident. last week against Indiana. Michigan only scored one touchdown in five trips to the red zone in the first half. They ended up kicking six field goals in the game. Their defense also allowed 249 yards in the first half. But as for Ohio State, they beat Maryland 51-52 but allowed 535 yards, 339 of which were rushing yards.
Both teams should be confident as well though. Dwayne Haskins played for J.T. Barrett last year when they won 31-20 in Ann Arbor. But Haskins has faced a defense that is this good in 2018. As for Michigan being confident, Shae Patterson is the best throwing quarterback they’ve taken into the game in a long time. Also even though they had a rough game against Indiana the Michigan defense is still 1st in the country while holding opposing teams at 234.8 yards per game. All in all, I am excited to watch the game on Saturday, I think this could be the year Michigan Beats the Fuckeyes.
