WOW! last week was a rough one for us! not only did the key member of our lineup not play (Josh Gordon), he got traded to the Patriots, a Super Bowl contender every year! with all the moves I had to make to the lineup, it is safe to say, week two of DFS did not go as planned. But here we are, helping you get ready for week three of daily fantasy football with a few players to consider during the DK Thursday – Monday slate.
QB – Andrew Luck IND @ Philadelphia Eagles ($5,600)
Well, hopefully, Josh Gordon didn’t put a curse on value superstars, because getting Andrew Luck at 5,600 is a steal at this price point. Coming off two seasons of not playing football, Luck had a lot of rust to work off, but I personally think that was accomplished in the first two weeks of the NFL season. I expect Luck to go out and put up big numbers against Philly defensive backs that have under-performing so far.
RB – Giovani Bernard CIN @ Carolina Panthers ($5,900)
Were taking Gio here for one reason, and one reason only, Joe Mixon is out for the next few weeks. Whenever the Bengals need to resort to calling upon Gio, when their main back goes down, Gio usually always delivers. We expect the same this week, as Gio will add consistent points both through the air and on the ground. Gio may not be the sexiest pick but has the potential to be the bargain player we need.
RB – Corey Clement PHI @ Indianapolis Colts ($4300)
Last week we went expensive, and it ended up biting us in the ass, so this week we are going to go cheap! while filling out your DFS rosters I highly suggest looking at Corey Clement as a bargain buy. With Ajayi and Sproles potential missing this week, this means that Clement is the next guy up! and with Wentz returning this week, who loves Clement, I expect him to outplay his $4300 price point.
WR – Keelan Cole JAX @ Tennessee Titans ($5,600)
I am excited to add baby OBJ, Keelan Cole to my roster this week, in week two Keelan Cole took over the Jaguars WR1 job of Moncrief and friends. If Fournette cannot go or is less than 100%, I expect the opportunities to be there in week 3 against an attackable Tennesse defense.
WR – TY Hilton IND @ Philadelphia Eagles ($6,700)
Here we are, we got our bargains out of the way, and not we are going to spend some cash! were taking the stack here with Lucks favorite target, TY Hilton. TY Hilton when right can be a top three scorer in any fantasy week, once known as a boom or bust play, TY offers us a safe floor and a very high ceiling in your DFS lineups.
WR- Allen Robinson CHI @ Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals just gave up 160 yards to Brandin Cooks in week two, the Cardinals is a reeling team, and we plan to exploit that in week 3 by suggesting everyone to add Allen Robinson to their week 3 roster. Through two weeks it seems that Trubisky is a one read guy, after that first read he starts to panic, this plays into Allen Robinson’s favor as he is almost always the first read in the offense.
TE- Rob Gronkowski NE @ Detroit Lions ($7,400)
I don’t always I pay up for a tight end, but when I do it’s for Rob Gronkowski, especially when he is the only target in an offense that has no desire to stop the tight end position. Oh and don’t forget its a teacher V student matchup, a matchup the good ole Bill has never lost, you don’t get points for wins but I do think Gronk will outproduce his price total here.
Flex- Quincy Enunwa NYJ @ Cleveland Browns ($5,600)
Taking a chance with the rookie here, and that he will treat Enunwa a lot like what the Browns want to treat Jarvis Landry, a guy you can force feed targets too. If Enunwa can get his normal target share through the first two weeks, his opportunities to score is always a good one, and one touchdown is all we will need for him to outplay his point total.
D/ST- Chicago Bears @ Arizona Cardinals ($3,500)
Not going to spend much time talking about a defense, but when you get the opportunity to get a top 10 defense going up against a team that has no clue what they’re doing on offense, you jump at that opportunity.
